SIF BANAT-CRISANA is a Romanian legal person, set up as a joint stock company in November 1996.

SIF Banat-Crisana is a self managed closed-end investment company, based on instruments of incorporation, in the category of Other Undertakings for Collective Investments (AOPC) with a diversified investment policy.

The investments made, the computation of net asset value, the regulations regarding asset valuation and transparency and disclosure requirements comply with the legal provisions in force and the regulations issued by the Romanian National Securities Commission (CNVM), the regulatory and supervision body of the Romanian capital market.

As of December 31, 2007, SIF Banat-Crisana’s net asset value reached RON 2,024.82 millions (EUR 560 millions). The market capitalization was of RON 1,948.41 millions (EUR 538 millions) at the end of December, 2007.

Company’s headquarters is located in Arad and it has a network of 10 branches in the following cities: Alba-Iulia, Baia Mare, Bistrita, Bucharest, Cluj-Napoca, Deva, Oradea, Satu-Mare, Timisoara and Zalau.

SIF BANAT-CRISANA’S SHARES, ticker SIF1, have been listed on the first tier of Bucharest Stock Exchange since November 1, 1999. The company issued 548,849,268 ordinary shares, with a nominal value of RON 0.1000.
